“Badr: Legend of the Pearls” is the tale of a young boy’s wondrous adventures as he wields mysterious powers, faces dangerous foes and learns the value of friendship, responsibility, courage and ingenuity to overcome a vast world of challenges. Set mostly in Dana, a quaint pearling town in the Arabic Gulf in the turn of the 20th Century, the story of “Badr” follows the titular son of a sanbook captain who unlocks the secret of his family’s legacy, a mysterious pearl and gauntlet that allows him to command and control water.
